Westcon Group Announces Cisco Smart Care Service Initiative, Helping Resellers Deliver Differentiated, Customized Service Offerings

Tarrytown, NY, June 23, 2009 - Westcon Group, Inc., the leading specialty distributor in networking, convergence, security and mobility, today announced it is introducing Cisco Smart Care Service to the United States reseller market. With Cisco Smart Care Service, resellers can develop and brand a distinctive service and support capability with network level support to help foster long-term, strategic relationships with end-user customers.

Westcon Group is promoting Cisco Smart Care Service to a select group of Cisco certified, SMB-focused resellers. This follows Westcon’s introduction of the Service last year to its European reseller customer base, now with over 300 resellers participating. To coincide with the announcement, Westcon and Cisco have planned a series of in-person and online training opportunities in the U.S. and in Canada over the next couple of months.
